Pump It Up Radio Headlines: Adele Helps a Fan

Adele

Adele has been rising quickly on the charts and is becoming a favorite all over the world. She is currently number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and it’s no wonder that her shows consistently sell out. The singer is just as amazing live as she is on her album.

The last few UK shows were cancelled after a statement on her website stated “It is with regret that due to continuing problems with a serious cold and chest infection, Adele has had to postpone her shows this weekend in Wolverhampton. Her doctors have insisted she recovers fully before returning to the tour. The shows will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity and all original tickets will remain valid. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase. Sincerest apologises for any inconvenience caused.”

However, Adele was back at it on Monday night performing at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo. This time, the show wasn’t stopped because of Adele’s illness; it was to aid a fan in the crowd! During the song “Rumor Has It” she noticed something unusual and asked “Has someone fainted?” It wasn’t long before she was yelling for a “Medic!” into her mic and waited in concern to make sure the fan was okay. Adele lightened the mood as much as she could by saying “That’s proper rock ‘n’ roll.”

The show continued to engage the concert goers until the very end. Tune in to our party on Wednesday 12-3 AM 90.3 FM WHCR, Thursday 10PM- 1AM  on nitelineradio.com and Sundays 3-6 PM on partyradiousa.net. ~Phylis J.
