Pump It Up Radio Headlines: Dev’s “The Night the Sun Came Up” Drops November 11

New Album From Dev

Dev is one of electronica’s rising stars. Her gold single “Bass Down Low” received such critical acclaim that it was one of Billboard’s Top Five Gainers. Flo Rida and 50 Cent even remixed the song as singles.

Billboard Magazine describes Dev as a strong female singer who can deliver a message while attracting everyone to the dance. “The singer [Dev] has continued her transition to lead artist by straight-up propositioning the listener onto the dancefloor with ‘In the Dark,” it stated.

Though Dev has never released an albums, fans can let a sigh of relief as the dance star announced the release date of her highly anticipated album.

Fans can expect “The Night the Sun Came Up” on November 1, 2011. The album is nearly complete, as Dev may tweak the music just a little before absolute completion. So far the singer left the album almost in its original form, avoiding fine tuning it with producer team The Cataracs. However, since becoming a new mother the “crazy” events in her life have inspired some new tracks.

“The Night the Sun Came Up” will be available at all major retailers and on iTunes.
