Many don’t know what to think of the name Nervo, but that is soon about to change. Nervo is the new name in music, a duo featuring two twins from Melbourne, Australia.
Miriam and Olivia began their careers as models in Australia at the age of 16, but they soon decided to veer off into the music world as songwriters. At the age of 18, they were signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing as songwriters, later working with big names such as Kesha, Ashley Tisdale, and the Pussycat Dolls. Their biggest collaboration, however, was with David Guetta and Kelly Rowland, writing the hit song “When Love Takes Over.”
Still, Nervo wanted to venture out and start creating their own songs, the first club single being released in 2010, “This Kind Of Love,” which topped number 1 on the world club charts, number 2 on the music week club charts, and number 6 on the music week pop charts. Quite a feat!
In June 2011, Nervo opened for Brittney Spears on her Femme Fatale Tour. A number of artists have shown interest in working with Nervo, including Madonna. Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls has also recorded a new single with Nervo, “Try With Me.” Their latest single featuring Afrojack and Steve Aoki, “We’re All No One,” is hitting the charts, specifically the Beatport Electro House chart.
The dangerous duo is showing what they know, and there is no doubt they will bring a new flavor to the electro-pop music scene. For all other great info, contact, tour dates, and music samples, visit Nervo’s official website at www.nervomusic.com.
