Are you willing to walk 500 miles then walk 500 more? The Proclaimers are! They released it in the United States in August 1993 however this single was released in the UK in 1988. This single was off their second album also known as their best selling Sunshine on Leith. Even though, in the United States, it peaked at #3 on the Billboards Hot 100 chart, it also reached the end of the year chart at #27 in 1993.
